SSE Community Bee Garden

I was commissioned last week to create a promotional video for Scottish Hydro (SSE) highlighting the work their staff carry out in local communities as part of their Community at Heart initiative

The initiative allows SSE employees to take a day out of their typical working life to help local community projects. In this video SSE staff helped to create a 'bee garden', including a 'bee hotel', at a Primary School in Glasgow - with a little help from gardeners Hunter & Lyall and some of the school's pupils.

The garden was specially designed with flowers to attract bees. The project taught children, from Primary 3 through to Primary 7, about sustainability and the importance of bees to the environment.
