NatWest - New Now Campaign

I was commissioned by NatWest to capture the stories of businesses throughout the UK who were finding success during the Coronavirus pandemic. Whether it’s creating products to help fight coronavirus, or pivoting to serve their customers and communities in a different way, there are success stories to be found across the UK.

We travelled the country producing a wide range of video content for NatWest’s social channels and online Business Hub. From The Calabash Tree in the North East, to Passion for Pie in the South West and WOW Saddles in the South East

Filming Robbie Coltrane & TS Queen Mary

This weekend, while working with Mallard Productions, I had the pleasure of filming with Scottish actor Robbie Coltrane as he launched a fundraising campaign to restore the TS Queen Mary.

Coltrane is patron of the charity, Friends of TS Queen Mary. The steamship is the last remaining Clyde-built turbine steamship, and has been brought back to Glasgow after being withdrawn from service in 1977.

The charity needs to secure £2m to restore the vessel and open it to the public as an exhibition and an arts and culture venue.

Famous Grouse - Famous for a reason

I was recently commissioned by The BIG Partnership to produce a series of films for The Famous Grouse as they commenced a new marketing campaign, ‘Famous For a Reason’. The Famous Grouse is one of Scotland’s best selling whiskies, selling over 43 Million bottles in 94 global markets every year.

Global Brand Ambassador Lucy Whitehall told the story of Matthew Gloag, the founder of Famous Grouse. Gloag created ‘The Grouse Brand’ of whisky in 1867. The whisky then went on to be known as The Famous Grouse, and Matthew Gloag’s signature can still be found on each bottle to this day.

Filming took place over a number of days across Scotland, including Scone Palace and the Glenturret Distillery, Scotland’s oldest working distillery.

A number of interactive whisky tasting sessions were filmed with Master Blender Gorton Motion in Edrington’s Sample Room. The videos will be used online and on social media, as well as being displayed at exhibitions, tastings and promotional events worldwide.

Clydesdale Bank – UK’s First Polymer Banknote

Footage – including interviews with the Acting CEO of Clydesdale Bank, Debbie Crosbie, and Science Club Ambassador, Heather Reid OBE – was distributed to broadcasters throughout the UK. The video was published online and will be displayed in Clydesdale Bank branches across Scotland.
